The Network Sciences Platform (NSP) is an intelligent network automation framework that provides automated discovery of connected devices, standardized engineering and governance workflow and next-generation change automation capabilities. The NSP empowers core architectural, engineering, security and change governance with an end to end approach using standardized configuration templates and risk management policy frameworks to simplify infrastructure management and reduce the impact of change within your organization. Standardized and peer-reviewed changes are delivered to end devices directly via NSP’s network delivery engine (NDE), executing changes via standardized DevOps deployment, testing and continuous improvement processes. The NSP allows enterprise teams the power to regain proactive control of network operations while reducing human errors, controlling security risks and improving overall network availability and customer experience.
The NSP’s architecture centers on a secure, distributed services fabric that leverages both on-premise and public cloud infrastructure to deliver powerful, scalable and secure discovery and automation services out of the box. Our standard cloud deployment segments and isolates customer dedicated infrastructure , networks and individual NSP platform components into a customer-specific “tenant” model. Our NSP micro-services communications is then overlay’d and secured using SecDevOps principles and vaulting technologies. Our on-premise Forward Operating Collectors with Enhanced Reachability (FOCERs, pronounced, fock-er) are installed in the enterprise with secure communications back into the customers isolated tenant, creating a closed loop for all NSP functions.
The NSP is an integrated suite of tools consumed by network engineering, application owners, security and operations teams and includes powerful change automation capabilities available via RestAPI. The platform includes extensibility via many third-party integrations such as NetBrain, Device42, ServiceNow, InfoBlox, ELK, Ansible and SALT.
