Dynecon / Runbook and infrastructure automation
Turn expertise into repeatable operations.
Capture the judgment behind a recurring task, connect the necessary tools, and make the action and its outcome reviewable. This consulting principle helped shape NSP and Silas.
Start with the operating problem
Identify repetitive work, failure conditions and the evidence needed to respond. A useful runbook defines prerequisites, scope, decision points, validation and recovery—not just a sequence of commands.
Connect tools around the task
Use APIs, scripts and management integrations to gather configuration, performance, capacity and asset context. Share useful evidence with CMDB, analytics and reporting systems, and connect events to the relevant service-desk or monitoring workflow.
Make remediation contextual
A workflow might enrich a ticket with traceroute or device details, prepare a configuration change, restart a process or adjust virtual-machine capacity. Each action needs the right scope, permissions and validation. Automating a task does not remove the need to control its consequences.
Carry the engineer’s knowledge forward
Runbooks make subject-matter expertise reusable. Silas builds on that idea through agent reasoning and coordinated tools, while Praxis connects the engineering instructions and review criteria that govern the work. Outcomes and lessons contribute to the context for the next task.
